Description
The CarBahn Performance High-Flow Stainless Steel Exhaust System is a complete cat-back exhaust system designed specifically for the BMW F90 M5, M5 Competition, and M5 CS. Constructed from durable stainless steel, this system is engineered to provide improved exhaust flow and a sporty, aggressive exhaust character while maintaining comfortable drivability.
Unlike a simple axle-back system that only replaces the rear mufflers, the CarBahn exhaust is a complete cat-back system designed to improve exhaust flow throughout the system.
The CarBahn exhaust retains the OEM catalytic converters and electronic exhaust valve controllers in the mufflers. During normal driving, the system provides a mellow and sporty exhaust tone while reducing the drone commonly associated with many aftermarket exhaust systems.
When driving at wide-open throttle, the ECU opens the electronic exhaust valves to increase exhaust flow for maximum performance. This produces a more pronounced and sporty exhaust sound without becoming excessively loud.
The system comes standard with 102 mm stainless steel exhaust tips. A CarBahn carbon fiber exhaust tip option is also available for an upgraded appearance.
