Unlock additional performance from your Audi B9 S4, S5, or SQ5 with the CarBahn Performance 401 HP Stage 1 Performance Controller. The CarBahn Performance Controller (CPC) is an easy-to-install, plug-and-play electronic control unit designed to increase boost pressure and deliver increased horsepower and torque from turbocharged applications.
The CPC features selectable performance maps that can be accessed through a Bluetooth-connected smartphone application. The available maps are designed to optimize performance for different fuel octane levels, with support for 91, 93, and 100 octane fuel.
On 100-octane fuel, the supplied performance data shows the CPC producing up to 401 HP and 454 lb-ft of torque at the calculated flywheel level, compared with the supplied OEM stock output of 357 HP and 400 lb-ft.
The controller is designed for straightforward installation, with an estimated installation time of approximately 2 hours.

Selectable performance maps can be accessed through a smartphone application using Bluetooth connectivity. The maps are designed to accommodate different fuel octane levels, allowing users to choose between 91, 93, and 100 octane options.
CarBahn also offers an optional powertrain warranty for the CPC.
If you decide to transition from the CarBahn Performance Controller to software in the future, a $250 upgrade fee applies. If a warranty was purchased with the controller, the warranty can be transferred to the software upgrade at no additional charge.
Emissions Legality
CarBahn states that removing the catalytic converter, commonly accomplished through the use of catalyst-free downpipes, typically provides a power gain of approximately 2% based on its testing.
CarBahn also notes that operating without a catalyst can make it difficult to obtain required emissions certification and may be illegal. Always comply with applicable local emissions laws and regulations.
