Description

Unlock the next level of performance from the BMW G90/G99 M5 with the CarBahn Performance Stage 2 Performance Controller Power Package. Designed for the S68-powered G9X M5, this plug-and-play performance system is engineered to increase horsepower and torque without requiring a factory ECU flash.

On 100 octane fuel, CarBahn has measured up to 959 calculated flywheel horsepower and 1,013 lb-ft of torque, transforming the already high-performance M5 into an even more powerful street and track vehicle.

The Stage 2 Performance Controller provides selectable fuel-specific maps through a Bluetooth smartphone application, allowing drivers to switch between 91, 93, and 100 octane performance profiles.

About the CarBahn Performance Controller

The CarBahn Performance Controller (CPC) is a plug-and-play controller designed to increase horsepower and torque in turbocharged vehicles. The unit provides selectable performance maps that can be accessed through a smartphone application using Bluetooth connectivity.

The available maps are designed around different fuel octane levels, allowing users to select between 91, 93, and 100 octane options.

Optional Powertrain Warranty

CarBahn offers an optional powertrain warranty for its products, including the CarBahn Performance Controller.

Emissions Legality

CarBahn states that removing the catalytic converter, commonly through the use of aftermarket downpipes, provides a relatively small power increase compared with commonly advertised gains. According to the supplied information, consecutive dyno testing with and without the catalyst showed a power increase of approximately 2%.

Removing or modifying emissions-control equipment can affect emissions compliance and may prevent a vehicle from passing required emissions certification. Such modifications may also be illegal depending on local regulations. Check applicable emissions laws before modifying emissions-control equipment.
