Description
The CANchecked Universal Single DIN Radio Frame for MFD15 and MFD28 Displays is a modular dashboard mounting solution designed to integrate CANchecked multifunction displays into a standard single-DIN dashboard opening. It replaces the factory radio slot with a clean, purpose-built mounting platform for vehicle data displays, making it ideal for street cars, track-day vehicles, racing builds, and radio-delete dashboard configurations.
The DIN frame is specifically designed to securely house the CANchecked MFD28 display as the primary instrument while providing an additional 52mm round instrument opening for a CANchecked MFD15 display or a blanking cap. This allows users to create a compact and functional instrument cluster using readily available CANchecked components without fabricating a custom dashboard panel.
Manufactured using 3D-printed construction technology, the bespoke panel and display holder provide precise MFD28 fitment. A sheet metal frame is included for secure installation into the vehicle's single-DIN bay.
The included 52mm blind cap provides additional flexibility. It can be used to close the secondary instrument opening or adapted for mounting a USB port, SD card extension, or another compatible accessory, allowing the dashboard configuration to be customized to the vehicle and driver's requirements.
