Description
The CANchecked SWD32 Multi Function Display is a high-performance motorsport display designed to provide real-time vehicle data directly within the driver's field of vision. Based on the proven CANchecked MFD32 platform, the SWD32 integrates a 3.2-inch touchscreen display directly onto compatible sports steering wheels.
Designed for motorsport, track, and performance applications, the SWD32 provides access to extensive vehicle data through CAN bus, OBD2, and supported internal inputs. Depending on vehicle and ECU compatibility, the system can display up to 128 sensor values while allowing users to create customized display layouts with configurable widgets, colors, graphics, and performance information.
The display can be configured directly through its touchscreen or using CANchecked Display Setup Software (DSS). Analog inputs can be used for external sensors or trim-pot functionality, while digital inputs can be used to switch between display pages using external buttons.

Display & Customization
The SWD32 provides a highly configurable interface designed around the needs of motorsport and performance driving.
Users can create up to 10 display pages, with as many as 64 widgets per page. Widget layouts, colors, graphics, and displayed parameters can be customized to create dashboards suited to different driving conditions or vehicle configurations.
Configuration can be performed directly through the touchscreen or through CANchecked Display Setup Software (DSS).
CAN Bus & Vehicle Data
The SWD32 communicates directly with compatible vehicle networks through CAN bus and supported OBD2 communication protocols.
The system supports ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284 CAN communication and can access extensive ECU data depending on the vehicle manufacturer, control units, software version, available CAN documentation, and system configuration.
OBD2 CAN communication supports both 11-bit and 29-bit identifiers, while TP2.0 and UDS protocols are supported for compatible applications.
Steering Wheel Integration
The SWD32 is designed to mount directly onto compatible motorsport steering wheels using a 6 × 70 mm bolt circle.
The steering wheel-mounted configuration keeps important vehicle information within the driver's field of vision, reducing the need to look toward a separate dashboard display during performance or track driving.
The display is available for compatible flat and dished steering wheel configurations.
Analog & Digital Inputs

Vehicle Compatibility & Data Availability
CANchecked products communicate directly with compatible vehicles through the CAN bus. CAN bus became widely available in production vehicles from approximately 2008 onward, although actual compatibility varies by vehicle.
Available data depends on the vehicle manufacturer, model, model year, installed control units, and software version. Standard OBD diagnostics may provide only limited information on some vehicles, while selected CANchecked integrations can access additional data directly from internal vehicle communication networks.
Available parameters and functions may vary even between vehicles within the same model range.
