The CANchecked Honda EP3 Civic MFD28 Multi Function Display is a compact and configurable 2.8-inch digital display designed for enthusiasts and tuners who want convenient access to important engine and vehicle data. The CANchecked MFD28 Gen2 integrates into the vehicle's ventilation insert while maintaining airflow through the vent.
Designed for the 2001–2005 Honda Civic EP3, the MFD28 Gen2 provides vehicle data monitoring, touchscreen controls, customizable display pages, expandable sensor inputs, configurable alarms, data logging, and integrated performance measurement. Gear information can be displayed directly from available vehicle data or calculated using vehicle speed and RPM.
The display also supports up to four analog inputs and an ethanol sensor, allowing additional monitoring capabilities for modified and performance-focused vehicles. With automatic dimming, supported DTC functions, and a vehicle-specific ventilation insert available for both left-hand-drive and right-hand-drive vehicles, the MFD28 Gen2 provides a practical and integrated display solution.

CANchecked products communicate directly with the vehicle through the CAN Bus. CAN Bus became widely available in production vehicles from approximately 2008 onwards, but compatibility and available data depend on the vehicle manufacturer, model, model year, installed control units, and software version.
Many modern vehicles provide limited information through standard OBD diagnostics. For selected vehicles, CANchecked offers dedicated integrations that can access additional vehicle data directly from internal vehicle communication networks. Available functions and parameters may vary between vehicles, including vehicles within the same model range.
