Description
The Burger Tuning BMS JB4 Electronic Wastegate (EWG) Add-On Connector is designed for 2014 and newer BMW engines equipped with an electronic wastegate (EWG). This add-on wiring harness allows the JB4 tuning system to directly control the electronic wastegate, increasing boost control flexibility and raising the boost ceiling for compatible applications.
By connecting the electronic wastegate to the JB4 system, this connector expands tuning capabilities and provides additional control over boost management on compatible BMW turbocharged engines. It is designed for use with BMW N55, B58, and N20 engines equipped with an electronic wastegate and a compatible JB4 system.

Installation Instructions
The EWG add-on harness includes two long wires, one purple and one blue. Each wire has a gold DSUB pin that must be inserted into the JB4 harness in a similar manner to the FlexFuel connector installation.
Route both wires through the rubber wire grommet leading to the large DB25 connector on the JB4 harness.

Purple Wire — Position #9: Connect the purple wire, which leads to the male pin on the wastegate harness, to position #9 on the JB4 DB25 connector. Carefully push the pin into place until it clicks.

Blue Wire — Position #16: Connect the blue wire, which leads to the female pin on the wastegate harness, to position #16 on the JB4 DB25 connector. Carefully push the pin into place until it clicks.
Verify that both pins are securely seated and that the wiring is correctly routed before operating the system. Follow the applicable JB4 installation procedures for your specific vehicle and hardware configuration.
