Patented Technology With a Purpose

One of AWE's best-known innovations is its patented 180 Technology®.

Instead of relying on traditional packing material inside the muffler, the system uses carefully engineered internal resonators that target and cancel specific sound frequencies responsible for cabin drone. This allows many AWE Touring Edition exhausts to deliver an aggressive exterior sound while maintaining a refined driving experience during highway cruising. It's one of several examples of AWE using engineering to improve performance rather than simply increasing volume.
