PROFILE
The ARM B58 Turbo Inlet improves airflow to the B58's turbo by increasing the diameter on the turbo inlet by a massive 25%. Where the ARM B58 Turbo Inlet is greatly improved over the OEM inlets and many other aftermarket inlets is at the turbo snout connection. The ARM B58 Inlet has an inside diameter of 2.5" at the connection to the turbo snout, compared to the OEM inlet which is only 2". Also, by removing the sound mufflers, turbulent airflow is smoothed out, allowing it to enter the compressor turbine more uniformly. The result is faster turbo spool, improved throttle response, and increased power and torque. The ARM B58 Turbo Inlet comes complete with all of the hardware necessary to reconnect the OEM fittings.
CONSTRUCTION
The ARM B58 Turbo Inlet starts at the turbo with a CNC machined fitting which utilizes the OEM O-ring to seal, and C-clip to secure at the B58's turbo snout. This is where the ARM B58 Inlet body connects to the turbo fitting. The ARM B58 Inlet body is made of 6-layer reinforced high-temperature silicone, and it is constructed to allow for reinstallation of all the OEM fittings
he ARM B58 Inlet Body transitions to 3.75" ID where the included joining adapter can be used to connect either the OEM intake or the ARM B58 Intake which maintains a 3.75" diameter all the way to the air filter.
