Description
The ARB BP-51 Coilover Strut Front Left brings racing technology to everyday adventures with advanced Old Man Emu BP-51 suspension technology. Featuring a 51mm (2-inch) internal bore, position- and velocity-sensitive damping, internal bypass technology, and a remote reservoir, this front left coilover strut is engineered to provide exceptional on-road ride comfort while delivering significant end-zone damping for improved chassis control and handling during off-road driving.
Developed and extensively tested under the harshest conditions in Australia, the BP-51 is a big-bore, position-sensitive bypass shock absorber with a remote reservoir. It is designed to bolt onto the vehicle without vehicle modifications while providing a broad range of damping adjustment. Rebound and compression performance can be adjusted to produce significant changes in vehicle ride performance, allowing a custom tune to suit driving conditions and vehicle setup.
The body, reservoir, and components are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and feature a Type III 40-micron hard-anodized finish. This construction provides exceptional heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and resistance to stone damage. The BP-51 is designed, developed, and tested entirely by ARB's Old Man Emu ride engineers, while the shock absorbers are manufactured in-house by ARB. Significant investment in state-of-the-art machinery provides ARB with total control of the manufacturing process to help ensure the highest possible quality.
