Description
The ARB RD121 Air Locker is the premier traction aid for Toyota vehicles equipped with the 8" IFS front axle featuring a 53mm bearing. This Air Locker utilizes a patented pneumatically operated locking system inside the differential. With a simple flick of the driver-controlled switch, it locks both axle shafts together, delivering 100% traction at any speed.
When engaged, the Air Locker prevents the internal differential gears from rotating independently, ensuring both wheels spin together for maximum grip on the toughest terrain. When disengaged, it functions like a conventional open differential, maintaining excellent drivability and reducing wear.
The two-piece steel construction is built for durability and reliability, minimizing moving parts and maximizing strength. The locking mechanism is patented for high strength and ultra-fast engagement and disengagement. It includes steel reinforced, elastomer bonded annular seals designed to withstand extreme temperature conditions worldwide.
This kit comes complete with the Air Locker differential, activation switch, solenoid valve, airline, and bulkhead fitting. An air compressor is required for operation but sold separately.
