The ARB RD271 Air Locker is engineered to deliver on-demand traction for the next generation of Toyota off-road vehicles. Specifically designed for 2024+ Tacoma and Land Cruiser models equipped with a 8.15" 12-bolt rear axle and 30-spline axle shafts, this Air Locker provides a robust and reliable solution for challenging off-road terrain.
With a flip of the switch, the RD271 pneumatically engages and locks both axle shafts together, eliminating differential action and maximizing traction. This is particularly useful in low-traction conditions like mud, rock, snow, and steep grades. When disengaged, it behaves like an open differential for smooth and quiet on-road driving.
The RD271 uses a strong steel two-piece construction with minimal moving parts for long-term durability and ease of maintenance. It’s equipped with ARB’s patented locking mechanism and a reinforced annular seal built to withstand extreme environmental conditions.
