With the flick of a switch, this air locker provides 100% traction on demand, giving you the confidence to conquer the most rugged terrains without sacrificing on-road drivability.
The ARB Air Locker operates by locking both axle shafts together, distributing equal torque to both front wheels regardless of traction loss. Its pneumatic activation system allows for instant engagement and disengagement from inside the vehicle — no manual hubs or external electronics required.
Built from high-strength steel with minimal moving parts, the RD224 is designed for extreme durability and reliability. A steel-reinforced annular seal ensures performance in the harshest climates, and ARB’s patented “timed” locking mechanism offers ultra-fast unlocking when you need to switch back to open diff mode.
This kit includes everything you need except an air compressor, which is sold separately.
