Description
The ARB Air Locker Differential for Ford 8.8", 31 Spline - arbRD81 is the world’s premier traction aid designed to keep you moving in all conditions. With a simple flick of a switch, the ARB Air Locker instantly locks the differential, providing full traction at any speed and allowing you to confidently conquer even the toughest terrain.
The Air Locker’s key advantage is its pneumatically operated locking system inside the differential. When engaged, it locks the internal gears to ensure both axle shafts rotate together, maximizing traction. When disengaged, it functions as a normal open differential, providing smooth on-road drivability.
Built with a two-piece ultra-durable steel design and minimal moving parts, the ARB Air Locker is engineered for maximum strength and reliability. It features a patented timed locking mechanism for fast unlocking and a steel-reinforced elastomer bonded annular seal to handle extreme climates. The kit includes the Air Locker differential, activation switch, solenoid valve, air line, and bulkhead fitting. (Air compressor required for operation – sold separately.)
