Description
The ARB Air Locker Differential Dana 60HD, 35 Spline, 4.56 Ratio & Up (model arbRD166) is the ultimate traction solution for serious off-roaders and heavy-duty vehicles. Engineered by ARB, the world leader in traction aids, this air locker provides instant and reliable locking of the differential at the flick of a switch. Its rugged pneumatic locking system enables activation at any speed, giving you maximum traction when you need it most—whether tackling mud, rocks, sand, or uneven terrain.
Inside the differential, the ARB Air Locker prevents the internal gears from rotating independently, ensuring both axle shafts turn in unison with the ring gear. This means full 100% traction on demand without compromising on-road drivability or causing additional wear. When not engaged, it functions as a conventional open differential for smooth, everyday driving.
Designed with durability and reliability in mind, this two-piece steel differential locker features a patented timed locking mechanism for fast unlocking and a steel-reinforced, elastomer bonded annular seal built to withstand extreme climates. The kit includes the Air Locker differential, activation switch, solenoid valve, airline, and bulkhead fitting. (Note: Air compressor sold separately.)
