The carbon fiber outer door shell is bonded to a carbon fiber inner skeleton, creating a lightweight and rigid assembly. At approximately 12 lbs. per door compared with approximately 50 lbs. for each OE steel door, these doors offer an estimated weight reduction of approximately 38 lbs. per door, or approximately 76 lbs. for a pair.

Applying an appropriate UV-protective clear coat can help preserve the carbon fiber finish and protect the surface from long-term UV exposure.
