Description
The Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Rear Camera Decklid Housing Panel is a premium exterior upgrade designed for the Chevrolet Corvette C8 Coupe. Engineered as a direct replacement for the OEM panel, this carbon fiber component combines lightweight construction, high strength, and a refined motorsport-inspired appearance while retaining the factory camera location.
Manufactured using an autoclave process with pre-preg 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth, the panel delivers excellent structural rigidity and a consistent carbon fiber weave. The pre-preg construction provides the high-quality finish and precise appearance expected from a premium carbon fiber component.
An automotive-grade clear coat with UV inhibitors is applied to protect the carbon fiber surface from environmental exposure while providing a polished, high-luster finish. The visible 2x2 twill weave adds a distinctive performance aesthetic to the rear decklid of the Corvette C8.
The panel replaces the OEM decklid housing panel and mounts using OE hardware. For installation, the deck lid vents must be removed to access the factory mounting clips. A plastic body tool is recommended for safely removing the OEM clips.
