The carbon fiber doors weigh approximately 34 lbs. per pair, compared with approximately 72 lbs. per pair for the OEM doors. Based on these listed weights, the carbon fiber doors provide an approximate 38 lbs. weight reduction per pair, making them a significant weight-saving upgrade for performance-oriented Corvette builds.
The carbon fiber A-side outer structure is bonded to a fiberglass B-side skeleton and is designed to mount using OE hardware. The required OE hardware is not included, while provisions for factory hardware are incorporated into the doors.
