Description
Reduce vehicle weight and give your Chevrolet Corvette C6 a competition-focused upgrade with the Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Doors. Designed for off-road and racing applications, these lightweight replacement doors combine carbon fiber construction with a fiberglass support structure to significantly reduce weight compared with the factory doors.
Anderson Composites components are carefully handcrafted using premium materials and produced by a team with more than 20 years of carbon fiber manufacturing experience. Each component is manufactured with a consistent weave pattern and carefully controlled carbon-to-resin ratio, then meticulously inspected to maintain Anderson Composites' standards for craftsmanship and quality.
These doors are manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied and polished to help protect the surface while providing a high-luster finish.
Each door features a carbon fiber outer panel (A-side) bonded to a fiberglass skeleton (B-side). The hand-crafted construction results in an approximate weight of 18.2 lbs. per door, compared with an estimated 28 lbs. per OEM door, providing an estimated weight reduction of approximately 9.8 lbs. per door.
The doors include mounting locations for the OE hardware, glass assembly, and interior trim panel, allowing the factory components to be incorporated into the installation. OE mounting hardware is not included.
