Description
Upgrade your 2015-2023 Ford Mustang with Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Doors, engineered for performance-focused applications where reducing unnecessary vehicle weight is a priority. These lightweight replacement doors combine premium 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber with a fiberglass inner skeleton to deliver a strong, rigid, and race-oriented alternative to the factory doors.
Anderson Composites components are carefully hand-crafted using high-quality materials and manufactured by an experienced production team with more than 20 years of carbon fiber expertise. Each component is produced with a consistent carbon fiber weave and an optimized carbon-to-resin ratio, helping provide excellent stiffness and strength while maintaining the lightweight characteristics desired for performance applications.
The doors are manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. A marine-grade gel coat containing UV inhibitors is applied and polished to provide a high-luster finish while helping protect the carbon fiber surface from UV exposure.
Each door weighs approximately 14.7 lbs., compared with approximately 45.6 lbs. for a stock OEM door, providing a potential weight reduction of approximately 30.9 lbs. per door based on the listed weights. This substantial reduction makes these carbon fiber doors well suited for performance builds, track vehicles, and motorsport applications where vehicle weight is an important consideration.
The doors are designed to mount using OE hardware, which is not included, and include locations for most factory hardware. The carbon fiber A-side outer structure is bonded to a fiberglass B-side inner skeleton. For competition applications, Anderson Composites recommends installing a race-sanction-approved roll cage with door bars. These doors are designed for off-road and motorsport use and are not intended for street use.
