Description
The aFe POWER Rebel Series Cat-Back Exhaust System is engineered to deliver aggressive sound, improved exhaust flow, and proven performance gains for 2009–2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 trucks equipped with 4.3L V6 or 5.3L V8 engines.
This high-performance cat-back exhaust system is constructed from 3-inch mandrel-bent tubing that splits into dual 2-1/2-inch 409 stainless steel piping, maximizing exhaust velocity while reducing backpressure. The result is increased horsepower, improved torque, and a more responsive throttle feel. In aFe POWER’s in-house dyno testing on a 2014 Silverado 5.3L V8, this system delivered gains of up to +14 horsepower and +17 lb-ft of torque.
At the core of the system is a straight-through, free-flowing stainless steel muffler designed to eliminate high-pitch drone while producing a deep, aggressive exhaust note under acceleration. The system exits on the passenger side in front of the rear tire, giving the truck a bold, custom appearance.
Finishing the exhaust are dual 3.5-inch polished stainless steel middle-side exit tips, each featuring laser-etched aFe POWER logos for a premium look and long-lasting durability.
Installation is completely bolt-on with no cutting or modifications required. The system utilizes OE-style bayonet hangers, a high-quality OE-style flange, and heavy-duty stainless steel band clamps to ensure a secure fit, proper alignment, and a leak-free 360-degree seal. All necessary hardware is included for a hassle-free installation using factory mounting locations.
