The aFe POWER Street Series Rear Differential Cover is engineered to enhance durability, cooling efficiency, and long-term protection for 2015–2023 Ford F-150 trucks equipped with the Super 8.8 rear axle, including gas and diesel powertrains.
Constructed from durable cast aluminum, this differential cover offers significantly greater strength and impact resistance than the factory stamped steel unit. The raw aluminum finish with precision-machined cooling fins delivers a rugged, performance-focused appearance while improving heat dissipation under demanding driving conditions.
To improve thermal management and lubrication stability, the cover features built-in internal and external cooling fins that efficiently transfer heat from the differential oil to the surrounding air. The upgraded design also provides increased oil capacity over stock, helping maintain consistent performance and protection during towing, hauling, and extended driving.
For enhanced drivetrain protection, the Street Series cover includes a neodymium magnetic drain plug that captures metallic debris and contaminants before they can circulate through the rear end. A calibration plug preset to the factory oil level ensures accurate servicing and prevents accidental overfilling during maintenance.
All necessary mounting hardware is included for a straightforward, hassle-free installation. For additional protection, this cover can be paired with the optional aFe deep-reach magnetic fill plug (PN: 46-00002).
