The aFe POWER Street Series Rear Differential Cover is engineered to provide enhanced strength, cooling efficiency, and long-term protection for 2017–2023 Ford Super Duty F-350 and F-450 trucks equipped with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine and Dana M300 14-bolt dual rear wheel axles.
Manufactured from high-strength A356-T6 cast aluminum, this differential cover offers significantly improved durability and impact resistance over factory stamped steel covers. Integrated reinforcing ribs increase structural rigidity, while the raw aluminum finish with precision-machined cooling fins delivers a rugged, performance-focused appearance.
To improve thermal management under heavy towing and hauling conditions, the cover incorporates internal and external cooling fins that increase surface area to efficiently dissipate heat from the differential oil. At the factory-calibrated fill level, this cover increases total gear oil capacity to approximately 5 quarts, compared to roughly 4 quarts with the OEM cover, helping maintain consistent lubrication and reduced operating temperatures.
For maximum drivetrain protection, the Street Series cover includes magnetic drain and deep-reach magnetic fill plugs that capture metallic debris and contaminants before they can circulate through the differential. A 1/8" NPT oil level calibration plug, preset to the factory fluid level, ensures accurate servicing while eliminating the risk of accidental overfilling.
All required mounting hardware is included for a straightforward, hassle-free installation, and the cover is compatible with optional accessories such as the aFe oil level sight glass (Part Number: 46-00001) for quick visual fluid checks.
