The aFe POWER Pro Series Rear Differential Cover is engineered to deliver superior protection, increased fluid capacity, and enhanced cooling performance for Ford Super Duty trucks equipped with Sterling 11.6 rear axles. Constructed from high-strength A356 cast aluminum and finished with a durable black powder coat and precision-machined cooling fins, this premium differential cover is built to withstand the demands of towing, hauling, off-road driving, and heavy-duty work applications.
Designed to improve lubrication and temperature management, the Pro Series differential cover increases fluid capacity by approximately 1.46 quarts over the factory cover. The additional oil volume helps maintain lower operating temperatures and provides enhanced protection for gears, bearings, and other differential components during prolonged operation under heavy loads.
Integrated internal and external cooling fins maximize heat transfer from the differential fluid to the surrounding air, helping to reduce operating temperatures and improve drivetrain reliability. The black powder-coated finish provides excellent corrosion resistance while delivering a clean, aggressive appearance.
For maximum drivetrain protection, the cover includes a neodymium magnetic drain plug and a deep-reach magnetic fill plug designed to capture metal particles and contaminants before they can circulate through the differential. These magnetic components help reduce wear and extend the service life of internal drivetrain components.
An integrated oil-level sight glass allows quick visual inspection of fluid level and condition without disassembly, while the precision-positioned oil-level plug eliminates guesswork and automatically prevents overfilling during maintenance.
