Large 3-Layer Pro DRY S Performance Air Filter
At the core of the Momentum HD system is a massive 9” tall, 360-degree radial flow air filter featuring a 5.5" flange and aFe’s oil-free Pro DRY S media. The three layers of progressively finer synthetic media provide excellent filtration efficiency and dust-holding capacity without the need for oiling. Its inverted top increases surface area for improved airflow and longer service intervals, while reinforced metal construction prevents filter collapse under high demand.
Sealed One-Piece XLPE Housing
The one-piece sealed housing, constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), uses aFe’s patented filter-to-housing interface (US PAT 9440175) to reduce parts count and simplify installation. The housing connects directly to the factory air inlet scoop without additional hardware and includes an auxiliary air inlet for increased airflow when needed. A supplied plug allows the auxiliary inlet to be closed for controlled airflow in specific conditions. A large clear sight window enables quick filter inspection without disassembly.
Dyno-Tuned Intake Tube
A computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube ensures maximum airflow while maintaining precise fitment. Constructed from durable XLPE material, the tube resists heat soak and delivers consistent performance under demanding diesel operating conditions.
Premium Components & Secure Fit
This system includes stainless-steel T-bolt clamps and a flexible silicone bellows coupling, providing a secure seal while accommodating engine movement. Designed with minimal hardware, the Momentum HD intake installs quickly using factory mounting points.
