The aFe Power Momentum HD Cold Air Intake System with Pro 10R Filter is engineered to deliver increased airflow, improved throttle response, and proven performance gains for 2020–2023 Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel models. Designed for maximum efficiency and durability, this intake system combines advanced airflow engineering with premium materials for both on-road performance and off-road reliability.
This system outflows the factory intake by 22%, delivering a measured 365 CFM at 7" H₂O, and is dyno-proven to provide gains of up to +11 horsepower and +20 lb-ft of torque. At the core of the system is a massive washable and reusable Pro 10R air filter, designed with ten layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media to maximize airflow while offering excellent dust-holding capacity and extended service intervals.
The one-piece sealed housing, constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), utilizes a patented filter-to-housing interface (US PAT 9,440,175) that minimizes parts count and simplifies installation. Integrated factory air scoop inlets ensure a steady supply of cool, outside air, while an auxiliary air inlet provides additional airflow when required. A large clear sight window allows quick filter inspection without removing the housing.
Paired with the housing are dyno-tuned XLPE intake tubes, specifically designed to optimize airflow while resisting heat soak and maintaining a precise OE-style fit. High-quality silicone couplings and premium stainless-steel T-bolt clamps ensure a secure, leak-free seal under all driving conditions.
The Pro 10R filter features a 9-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow design with a 5.5-inch flange, reinforced with an internal metal structure to prevent collapse under high airflow demand. Its inverted top and large surface area allow for longer maintenance intervals, making it ideal for high-performance and off-road use.
