The aFe Power Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System with Pro 5R Filter is engineered to dramatically improve airflow, horsepower, and filtration efficiency for 6.4L HEMI–powered Ram trucks. Designed for maximum performance with OE-level fitment, this intake system replaces restrictive factory components with a high-flow, sealed cold air design that delivers proven results.
Rated at 590 CFM @ 7" H₂O, the Momentum GT intake outflows the factory system by 36%, delivering dyno-tested gains of up to +15 horsepower and +14 lb-ft of torque. Designed specifically for newer trucks without a mass airflow sensor, this system utilizes the factory air scoop to supply true cold air for consistent power gains under all driving conditions.
At the heart of the system is a one-piece sealed roto-molded housing, constructed from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene. This advanced design eliminates unnecessary joints while maintaining cooler intake air temperatures. A large clear sight window is integrated into the housing, allowing quick visual inspection of the air filter without disassembly.
Airflow is provided by a large 8-inch round Pro 5R performance air filter, featuring five layers of progressively finer oiled cotton gauze media to maximize airflow while maintaining excellent filtration. The filter is encased in a reinforced metal cage, offering added protection from debris and preventing filter collapse under high airflow demand. A patent-pending filter-to-housing interface allows for an oversized filter while simplifying installation.
The system includes a CAD-designed, dyno-tuned roto-molded intake tube, ensuring smooth airflow and precise factory-style fitment. A billet aluminum crankcase fitting and injection-molded temperature sensor fitting are included for seamless installation. Premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps and a silicone double-hump coupling provide a secure, leak-free seal.
Installation is quick and straightforward, requiring no cutting or drilling, making this an ideal bolt-on upgrade that can be completed in about an hour.
