The aFe POWER Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered to meet the high airflow demands of the 3.0L twin-turbo Hurricane engine, delivering increased horsepower, improved throttle response, and an aggressive induction sound. Featuring an open-element design and a high-flow Pro 5R air filter, this system allows the engine to breathe freely while showcasing a bold under-hood appearance.
Designed specifically for the RAM 1500 RHO, this intake draws in cool, dense air to maximize combustion efficiency. Unlike conventional open intakes, the Magnum FORCE Stage-2 system uses a housing that seals directly to the hood, blocking hot engine bay air and channeling fresh air straight into the intake tract. The result is consistent power gains and improved performance under load.
A dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube ensures smooth, unrestricted airflow and is constructed from durable, heat-resistant XLPE material for long-term reliability. The two-piece intake design allows for easier installation and accommodates natural engine movement without compromising the seal. Premium stainless-steel clamps and flexible silicone couplings provide a secure, vibration-resistant connection.
At the core of the system is a custom Pro 5R air filter, designed specifically for this application to maximize surface area, airflow, and filtration efficiency. Filter Media
The Pro 5R air filter uses five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze treated with oil to capture fine dust while maintaining maximum airflow. The filter is washable and reusable—simply clean, re-oil, and reinstall.
