Description

Upgrade your BMW S58 engine with the VTT Remote Oil Filter Kit—engineered for cleaner plumbing, reduced weight, and improved serviceability. This kit replaces the factory oil filter housing with a billet delete plate and relocates the filter to a more accessible location underneath the vehicle. Designed primarily for drag racing, it simplifies the oiling system while offering compatibility for custom oil cooler setups.

Even with an aluminum belly pan installed, the filter remains accessible—provided you are not using a stock-style crossover downpipe. This system is ideal for high-performance builds seeking improved access and modular customization.

Note: This kit deletes the factory oil cooler unless you choose to plumb it back in using custom lines. It is not recommended for street or track use without a cooler.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Relocates oil filter to a more accessible position

  • Eliminates bulky factory cooler and hard oil lines

  • Reduces system complexity and overall weight

  • Compatible with custom oil cooler configurations

  • Ideal for drag racing and high-performance applications

  • Designed to work with standard spin-on oil filters

  • Filter can be accessed without removing the belly pan (with aftermarket downpipes)
