Elevate your BMW B58 engine's performance with VTT's new B58 "GC," "GC-MID," and "GC+" turbocharger upgrades. These turbochargers are designed to eliminate the limitations of factory housings without the hassle of core charges or long wait times. We start by retaining the excellent design elements of the factory B58 turbo and enhancing them by addressing shortcomings like the small factory inlet area, bearing housing oil structure, and thrust bearing. Our proprietary VTT modifications are cast to OE quality, ensuring superior performance. The GC turbochargers are direct replacements, supporting over 600WHP while maintaining factory spool and connections, including oil, water, downpipe, and charge pipe.

  • 1 optional 4″ connector for inlet elbow, compatible with different intakes (order if unsure)

Pair your turbocharger upgrade with complementary upgrades such as fuel system enhancements, intake, downpipe, intercooler, and tuning to achieve the full potential of your B58 engine. Even with a stock setup, the GC/GC+ turbochargers will provide performance gains, but additional parts and tuning will maximize your investment.

Ensure a seamless installation by purchasing the B58 install kit. The GC, GC-MID, and GC+ turbochargers come with a silicone intake tube compatible with the stock airbox and some intakes without modifications. If you encounter fitment issues with specific brands like Injen, consider modifying your setup or adding the VTT MAF housing and filter, which work with the GC inlet hose.

Note: This system removes the PTC heater and will register a shadow code in the DME. Our testing showed this does not trigger a check engine light but will appear if you scan the vehicle. To remove the code, coding is required.

Vargas turbo kits are built to order and typically take 2-4 weeks to ship. Cancellations for any reason before 7 weeks will result in a 20% fee. Once a turbo is built, it will ship within 2 business days. Cancellation of any turbo after it has been built will result in a 50% fee. The same applies to all turbo returns, except for warranty and defect claims, where no fee will be applied. Custom items, such as coated parts, any VTT-FAB single turbo kits, and custom driveshafts, will also incur a 50% restocking fee.
