Description
The Turbosmart Kompact EM Plumb Back VR2 Blow Off Valve is a high-performance, plug-and-play electronic diverter valve upgrade designed to replace the factory valve on a wide range of turbocharged petrol engines. Developed by Turbosmart, the Kompact EM Series is the world’s first truly plug-and-play electronic blow off valve system, delivering improved boost control, faster response, and long-term reliability without complex installation.
This valve installs directly in place of the factory diverter valve. Simply unplug and unbolt the OEM unit and install the Turbosmart Kompact EM valve using the factory mounting location. No adapters, hoses, external solenoids, or reference lines are required, allowing full OEM ECU integration and control.
The Kompact EM Series combines motorsport-proven billet valve technology with a proprietary, integrated high-temperature solenoid and internal pressure control channels. This design eliminates common factory valve failures while maintaining factory-style drivability and system operation.
Turbosmart’s Boost-Balance Valve Technology allows the valve to seal more effectively as boost pressure increases, ensuring superior boost holding and throttle response. The billet aluminum construction and high-temperature O-rings provide exceptional durability, making this valve suitable for stock or modified engines operating in demanding conditions.
This Plumb Back configuration recirculates excess boost air back into the intake system, preserving OEM airflow behavior while delivering a significant upgrade over plastic factory diverter valves.
