Description
The Turbosmart Kompact EM Dual Port Blow Off Valve is a high-performance, direct replacement upgrade for the factory diverter valve found on BMW N20 and N26 turbocharged engines. As part of the award-winning Kompact EM Series, this valve is designed to provide a true plug-and-play solution that replaces the restrictive and failure-prone OEM plastic valve.
Installation is extremely simple. The factory diverter valve is removed and replaced with the Kompact EM valve using the included hardware. No additional adapters, hoses, or complicated assembly are required, allowing for a fast and straightforward installation while maintaining full OEM electronic integration.
The Kompact EM Series incorporates motorsport-proven billet valve technology combined with Turbosmart’s proprietary integrated solenoid system and internal pressure control channels. This innovative design eliminates the need for external reference hoses or additional solenoids while maintaining complete compatibility with the factory ECU control system.
Engineered to deliver superior boost control and reliability, the Kompact EM valve utilizes Turbosmart’s Boost-Balance Valve Technology, which improves sealing performance as boost pressure increases. Combined with a billet aluminum body and high-temperature O-rings, this design eliminates the common failure issues associated with factory plastic diverter valves while delivering faster response and improved durability.
The Dual Port configuration vents a portion of the boost pressure to atmosphere while recirculating the rest back into the intake system. This provides improved throttle response and turbocharger performance while producing a more aggressive and noticeable blow-off sound.
The Turbosmart Kompact EM Series is built to handle higher boost levels and demanding performance environments, making it an excellent upgrade for both stock and modified BMW turbocharged vehicles.
