The Front TAROX Brake Rotors for Volkswagen Golf Mk8 (CD1) 2.0 GTI are premium direct OE replacement performance rotors engineered to provide improved braking consistency, enhanced cooling efficiency, and superior durability over standard brake discs. Each rotor set is supplied as a pair of handed rotors specifically engineered with dedicated left and right side cooling characteristics. Rotor Face Options
F2000 – Long Curved Grooves
The F2000 rotor design features long curved grooves engineered to improve gas evacuation, reduce brake pad glazing, and maintain a more consistent brake pad contact surface. This design enhances braking response and helps provide improved pedal feel during performance driving.
Sport Japan – Drilled and Slotted
The Sport Japan rotor design combines precision drilled holes and slotted channels to improve heat management, enhance wet-weather braking performance, and provide more aggressive initial bite under demanding braking conditions.
Additional Anti-Rust Protection
An optional cataphoretic anti-rust treatment is available to provide long-term protection to all non-swept steel rotor surfaces, including internal cooling vanes. This highly durable coating helps resist corrosion and maintain the appearance of the rotors throughout their lifespan.
