The Numbers
From the factory, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is rated at 707–717 flywheel horsepower, depending on model year. On the dyno, our stock test vehicle recorded a peak of 561 wheel horsepower at 5,900 RPM.
After installing the TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module, peak wheel horsepower increased to 627 horsepower at 6,100 RPM, representing gains of over 80 wheel horsepower near the top end. This translates to an estimated total engine output approaching 790 flywheel horsepower, with peak gains of over 90 flywheel horsepower at 5,200 RPM.
Torque gains were equally impressive. Stock torque measured 563 ft-lbs at 3,750 RPM, while the TruControl-equipped Trackhawk produced 616 ft-lbs at 5,000 RPM. The largest increase—85 ft-lbs at the wheels—was recorded around 4,600 RPM, delivering explosive acceleration and improved high-RPM pull.
