Description
The SST Exhaust Flap / Valve Control is a plug-and-play control unit designed for compatible Porsche Boxster Type 981 models. It allows the driver to manually select the exhaust flap position to adjust the exhaust sound according to driving preferences. Compatible with the factory exhaust system, this controller provides an even more pronounced sound difference when paired with a compatible sports exhaust system.
The control unit offers three operating modes: Sport Mode, Comfort Mode, and Factory Mode. It integrates with the vehicle's existing electronics without requiring permanent vehicle modifications and is designed not to generate errors in the vehicle electronics when installed in the specified compatible applications.
Important Legal Notice: This control unit must not be installed in vehicles with ABE or road approval within the European Union, as installation will result in the vehicle's operating license becoming invalid. Operating Modes

Additional Features
The controller offers configurable startup behavior. You can choose whether the unit remembers the last selected operating mode and automatically reactivates it the next time the engine starts, or whether a specific mode should always be activated at startup regardless of the previously selected setting.
The unit is supplied pre-assembled and pre-programmed for straightforward installation. Illustrated installation and operating instructions are included to help simplify setup.
Designed for seamless integration with the vehicle electronics, the controller is specified as 100% compatible with the vehicle applications listed below. No vehicle modifications are required for installation. When switched off, the device does not consume quiescent current and is designed not to affect the vehicle's onboard electronics.
