Spulen is pleased to offer a high flow throttle pipe for the MK7 GTI, Golf, Golf R and 2015+ A3/S3. The factory throttle pipe is constructed of plastic and is extremely narrow resulting in an airflow restriction. The Spulen pipe is constructed out of mandrel bent 2.5" aluminum tubing. Unlike other pipes on the market, the Spulen pipe comes complete with a silicone coupler for the throttle body. The throttle pipe is finished in a durable powdercoat finish for an OEM look. A 1/8" NPT methanol bung allows for easy installation of most water methanol kits.
The factory turbo outlet pipe is constructed of plastic and is extremely narrow resulting in an airflow restriction. The Spulen pipe is constructed out of mandrel bent 2.25" aluminum tubing. The Spulen pipe replaces all factory hot side piping from the turbo to the factory intercooler hose.
Also included is the Spulen Turbo Muffler Delete that replaces the factory turbo muffler with a CNC billet piece that provides uninterrupted air flow. A Viton o-ring is included and forms a leak free seal between the base of the turbocharger and the Turbo Muffler Delete. The Spulen Turbo Muffler Delete features a larger 2.25” outlet and a tapered design to allow for maximum air flow.
