Description
The Evolution Racewerks Sports Series High Flow Catted Downpipes are engineered to unlock the full performance potential of your 2020+ BMW X3M or X4M equipped with the S58 twin-turbo engine. These downpipes maximize exhaust flow with a high-flow 200-cell metallic catalytic converter, delivering faster turbo spool, sharper throttle response, and increased horsepower and torque throughout the powerband.
Unlike restrictive factory ceramic catalytic converters, the metallic core handles higher temperatures, flows more efficiently, and provides improved durability. By eliminating the major bottlenecks created by the OEM downpipes and honeycomb catalyst structure, these upgraded downpipes significantly reduce backpressure and increase exhaust gas velocity.
Constructed from 100% 304 stainless steel, each downpipe utilizes mandrel-bent 3" piping, TIG-welded fabrication, and CNC-machined billet flanges that precisely match the factory 3.5" turbo V-Band connection. The O2 sensor is positioned in the OEM location, and the design retains the factory donut gasket and slip-fit connection. These downpipes are fully bolt-on and compatible with both factory and aftermarket exhaust systems.
For vehicles equipped with OPF (European & Asia specifications), a compatible version is available that allows full functionality of the factory particulate filter system. A high-temperature ceramic thermal coating option is also offered to lower underhood temperatures and maintain maximum exhaust gas energy.
