The Spool Performance FX-200 is a Stage 2 high-pressure fuel pump upgrade built to meet the increased demands of modified BMW B58 engines. Designed as a direct replacement for the FX-180, the FX-200 features a larger bore size that delivers roughly double the fuel flow of the stock pump. It supports high ethanol content (E85 compatible) and is fully plug-and-play, requiring no cutting, splicing, or custom fabrication.

Why Upgrade to the FX-200?
The stock high-pressure fuel pump on the Gen 1 B58 platform becomes a critical limitation when tuning for increased horsepower or running ethanol. Tune Calibration Required:
The FX-200 requires calibration adjustments to function correctly. These changes must be applied before the vehicle is started with the new pump installed to prevent damage and voiding of the warranty. Spool does not provide custom tunes but offers full support for your tuning team.

Low Pressure Fuel Pump Consideration:
The HPFP relies on adequate low-pressure fuel supply for proper lubrication and operation. Running the FX-200 with an underperforming low-pressure pump can cause damage due to fuel starvation, which is detectable and will void the product warranty. Ensure your fuel system is adequately upgraded to support the higher flow requirements.
