Description
The Simpson Super Bandit SA2020 Racing Helmet stays true to the unmistakable heritage of the original Bandit design while incorporating significant upgrades for modern competition. This Matte Black, X-Small model features a stealthy, low-glare finish that accentuates the helmet's aggressive lines. Unlike the standard Bandit, the "Super" edition is engineered with additional venting, providing enhanced airflow to keep the driver cool and focused during high-intensity racing or long stints in the cockpit.
Safety remains the foundation of this flagship model. The Snell SA2020 certification ensures that the Super Bandit meets the latest, most rigorous impact and fire-retardancy standards. The testing requirements for this generation have been updated to align more closely with the FIA 8859 Helmet Standard, featuring increased impact velocity testing to provide elite-level protection across all racing disciplines.

Fitment & Maintenance Information
A precise fit is essential for both comfort and safety. The X-Small Super Bandit is designed for a snug, secure fit; the helmet should not move or shift on your head once the chin strap is properly tensioned. Per the Snell Foundation’s guidelines, it is recommended to replace your racing helmet every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as the internal protective materials can degrade over time.
To maintain the Matte Black finish, clean the shell using only a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid using waxes, polishes, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can permanently damage the flat finish or compromise the impact-absorbing liner and composite shell. Always store your helmet in a cool, dry place inside a protective bag between events to keep it in peak competition condition.
