Developed by Simpson Racing, this harness introduces an innovative latch & link design with integrated clamshell-style adjusters for smoother operation and improved driver ergonomics.
At the center of this system is a patent-pending double pull-down latch & link buckle, featuring molded-in clamshell adjusters that deliver some of the smoothest belt adjustments available in motorsport harness systems. This design allows for precise and even tightening of the lap belts, ensuring a secure and balanced fit during high-performance driving.
The compact buckle assembly is engineered to be one of the smallest and strongest in the industry, improving driver comfort while maintaining exceptional strength. Forged end links for the shoulder and sub belts feature oversized openings and smooth edges, allowing for easier engagement and release—even under stress or when wearing gloves.
The harness is equipped with 2-inch webbing and lightweight aluminum shoulder adjusters, ensuring compatibility with HANS, Hybrid, and other frontal head restraint (FHR) systems. The silver latch handle and end fittings improve visibility in low-light conditions, making it easier to secure or release the harness in dark pit environments.
