Constructed from high-quality carbon fiber, this device provides exceptional durability while maintaining a lightweight and comfortable design for extended use. Developed in partnership with Detroit automotive manufacturers and independently tested to FMVSS208 standards, the Hybrid S demonstrates proven real-world performance in reducing neck loads during collisions.
When paired with a Snell or FIA-rated helmet and a 3-point seat belt, the Hybrid S significantly reduces neck tension compared to using a helmet alone. Its low-profile design ensures easy entry and exit without interference, while the front buckle system removes the need for bulky straps underneath the driver for improved comfort.
The Quick Release (QR) system allows for rapid and secure detachment, enhancing convenience without compromising safety. The multi-load path design effectively disperses impact forces, reducing stress on the head and neck during sudden deceleration.
While the Hybrid S performs exceptionally well with factory seat belts, Simpson Racing strongly recommends using a full containment cockpit system—including a containment seat, certified helmet, and a 5 to 7-point harness—for maximum safety on the track.
