Fitment & Maintenance Information
A precise, secure fit is critical for the effectiveness of your safety equipment. The Large Drag Bandit (fitting the 60cm–64cm range) is designed for a tight, stable fit to ensure the helmet and integrated head sock perform as intended during an impact. Following Snell Foundation guidelines, it is recommended to replace your racing helmet every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as internal protective liners and fire-retardant materials can lose their effectiveness over time.
To maintain the shell’s integrity and the high-gloss finish, clean the helmet using only a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, waxes, or solvents, as these can compromise the impact-absorbing liner or the fire-retardant properties of the head sock. Always store your helmet in a cool, dry place inside a protective bag between race weekends.
