Description
The Simpson Carbon Bandit No Vent Racing Helmet is the pinnacle of the Bandit series, combining the legendary "Bandit" styling with the extreme weight savings of a carbon fiber weave. This Extra Small (XS) model is specifically engineered for drivers who demand the ultimate in lightweight performance without sacrificing structural integrity. By utilizing a high-tensile carbon fiber shell, this helmet is approximately 1/3 lb. lighter than its composite counterpart, significantly reducing neck strain and fatigue during long stints or high-G maneuvers.
This "No Vent" edition is designed for specific racing environments where a sealed shell is preferred to prevent the entry of dust, dirt, or fluids, or to optimize the internal airflow of a forced-air system. Despite the lack of external vents, the helmet maintains the aggressive, aerodynamically tuned profile that reduces lift and provides exceptional stability at high speeds.

Fitment & Maintenance Information
A precise, snug fit is critical for the performance of a carbon fiber safety cell. The Extra Small Carbon Bandit should feel secure against the cheeks and forehead; it should not rotate or shift when the chin strap is properly fastened. Per the Snell Foundation’s guidelines, it is recommended to replace your racing helmet every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as the internal protective liners can lose their effectiveness over time.
To protect the carbon fiber finish, clean the shell using only a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid using abrasive polishes, waxes, or harsh chemical solvents, as these can damage the clear coat or the underlying composite structure. Always store your helmet in a cool, dry place inside a protective helmet bag to maintain the integrity of your investment between race weekends.
