Adjustable Airflow Configurations
The S&B 75-5140 Cold Air Intake offers two airflow configurations using the included silicone airbox plug.

Silicone Box Plug Removed: Opens the secondary air inlet, allowing additional air to enter from the passenger-side fender area.

Silicone Box Plug Installed: Seals the secondary air inlet on the side of the airbox facing the vehicle fender. In this configuration, the front-facing grille inlet and front scoop become the primary sources of airflow into the intake box.

S&B engineers its intake systems to support proper engine operation with the factory calibration or enhanced tuning. The injection-molded MAF sensor plate and foam MAF sensor gasket are designed to maintain a proper OE-style seal at the mass airflow sensor.
