The S&B 3.5–5.5" Lift Kit is a premium suspension system designed for Ford Super Duty owners who want increased ride height without sacrificing ride quality, handling, or towing performance. This complete system includes every major component S&B manufactures to properly lift and correct suspension geometry on your Super Duty.
By combining adjustable front lift components, precision steering upgrades, and heavy-duty structural brackets, this kit allows you to dial in ride height while maintaining excellent drivability on-road and stability under load. Optional upgrades are available for customers who want enhanced towing control, rear lift customization, or advanced shock performance.
This system is ideal for trucks running larger tires and for owners who demand improved steering control, reduced bump steer, and long-term durability.

Component Details
Track Rod Relocation Bracket & Adjustable Track Rod
The S&B track rod relocation bracket is designed to correct the frame-side track rod geometry on trucks lifted between 2.5" and 5.5" when paired with the adjustable track rod. The bracket is constructed from 3/8" thick steel for maximum strength and finished in a durable black powder coat for corrosion resistance. Extensive testing and multiple design revisions ensure optimal ride quality and durability.
The adjustable track rod allows precise axle centering while installed on the vehicle. It features OEM Ford components, including a factory ball joint on the axle side and an OEM rubber bushing on the frame side. These components provide excellent vibration isolation, long service life, and easy replacement using readily available factory parts.
Radius Arm Drop Brackets
S&B radius arm drop brackets are engineered to correct suspension geometry on 3.5"–5.5" lifted trucks. Each bracket uses five mounting points to securely attach to the frame and includes a crossmember for additional rigidity. This design provides unmatched strength and stability compared to traditional drop brackets.
Billet Radius Arms
The billet radius arms are CNC-machined from 6061 billet aluminum to deliver exceptional strength while reducing overall weight. Their angled design improves tire clearance compared to factory arms. Adjustable caster cam bolts allow precise alignment control, and integrated mounting tabs support the included limit strap kit when required by certain shock configurations.
Limit Strap Kit
The 12" limit strap kit is required for shock packages where extended shock length could allow the coil spring to become loose at full droop. The straps mount to the billet radius arms and a frame-mounted bracket. Installation does not require welding and includes hardware designed for boxed frames.
Sway Bar Relocation Kit
S&B sway bar relocation brackets and extended end links are required for front lifts exceeding 2.5". These brackets allow front-to-rear sway bar adjustment to improve tire clearance at full steering lock while maintaining factory sway bar performance, payload capacity, and handling characteristics.
Steady Track Steering System
The Steady Track system includes an ATS adjustable steering stabilizer, mounting brackets, and a replacement OEM Ford pitman arm. The stabilizer mounts directly to the pitman arm, providing superior control and eliminating bump steer. The system replaces the factory pitman arm with a flat OEM-style unit to create necessary clearance. The adjustable stabilizer allows fine-tuning for steering feel and performance, making it a major upgrade over factory and dual stabilizer setups.
Coil Springs & Adjustable Levelers
The adjustable levelers provide up to 2.5" of ride height adjustment. At their lowest setting, they match the factory spring perch height and can be adjusted to achieve precise front lift. The included coil springs provide 3.5" of lift on non-Tremor models and 2.5" of lift on Tremor models. Combined, this allows total front lift adjustment between 3.5" and 5.5".
Upgraded Bump Stops
The upgraded bump stop system replaces the factory bump stops using a bolt-on adapter plate. This allows the installation of larger oval bump stops for improved bottom-out control and durability under heavy loads.
Optional Upgrades
Torxz Traction Control Bars
Torxz traction control bars reduce axle wrap, wheel hop, and pinion angle changes during acceleration and braking. They utilize urethane bushings on both the axle and frame sides to allow full suspension travel without shock loading the frame.
Rear Lift Blocks
Rear lift blocks are available in 4", 5", and 6" heights. All blocks include integrated bump stop pads and air bag mounting pads. Customers should measure their factory block height before selecting the desired rear lift.
U-Bolts
U-bolt length depends on rear lift block selection. Accurate measurement of factory u-bolts and lift blocks is required before ordering. All extended u-bolts feature 3/4" threads and require slight drilling of the lower plate.
Shock Packages
Two shock packages are available. The Steady Valve 2.0" FOX IFP shocks are valved in-house by S&B for optimal ride quality. The FOX 2.5" Performance Elite shocks offer high- and low-speed compression adjustability and include reservoir mounting brackets positioned above the coil spring.
Dual Steering Stabilizer Kit
The dual steering stabilizer kit mounts directly to the axle using heavy-duty 5/8" u-bolts and is constructed from 1/4" thick steel to prevent deflection under load. This kit is recommended for trucks running 37" or larger tires and pairs well with the Steady Track steering system.
