• For maximum transfer case protection with a heavy-duty crossmember, the RIVAL Aluminum Transfer Case Skid Plate is recommended.

• If you choose to retain your factory steel transfer case cover, this transmission skid plate can still be used, but note that the steel cover is thinner (3.64mm) and lacks additional support, which may risk contact with the transfer case during impacts.

• The RIVAL 1/4-inch Aluminum Transfer Case Skid Plate sits on a 5mm reinforced crossmember to protect the transfer case from serious damage during off-road use.
