The RaceQuip 130 Series Chevron-1 One Piece Single Layer Fire Suit is designed for drivers seeking lightweight protection, durability, and comfort in motorsport environments. Built from Pyrovatex® FRC material, this suit provides reliable fire-retardant performance while maintaining breathability and flexibility for extended use.
This suit meets and exceeds SFI 3.2A/1 standards and is classified as an SFI-1 certified racing garment. It features a TPP Rating of 11, delivering dependable thermal protection for entry-level and intermediate racing applications.
The Pyrovatex® FRC construction is a cotton-based fire-retardant fabric engineered to retain softness, airflow, and moisture-wicking capabilities. It is gentle on the skin and suitable for long periods of wear without irritation. The specialized treatment process creates a smooth, slightly shiny exterior finish while bonding at a molecular level with the fibers to help maintain flame-retardant properties over time with proper care.
The suit is constructed using heavy-duty multi-needle over-lock safety stitching, ensuring excellent seam strength and long-term durability. A high-quality heavy-duty Nomex® backed brass two-way zipper with a double overlap closure provides secure fastening and added protection.
Designed with a modern Euro-inspired look, the Chevron-1 features distinctive chevron pattern box quilting for a professional racing appearance. Black Nomex® wrist and ankle cuffs provide a secure fit, while boot cuff legs and boot leg cuffs enhance coverage and safety.
Driver comfort and mobility are enhanced with 180° floating arm gussets, allowing improved range of motion, along with knit stretch side panels that add flexibility in the torso. A knit stretch panel on the lower back further improves comfort in seated driving positions. The suit also includes a two-piece adjustable belt for a customizable fit.
