The RaceQuip 120 Series One Piece Multi Layer Fire Suit is built for drivers who demand high-level fire protection, durability, and comfort in competitive motorsport environments. Featuring a multi-layer construction system, this suit provides advanced thermal resistance while maintaining breathability and flexibility for extended racing sessions.
This suit meets and exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 standards and is classified as an SFI-5 certified racing garment. With a TPP Rating of 25, it delivers superior protection against heat and flame exposure compared to single-layer suits.
The suit is constructed using a triple-layer system designed for optimal performance and comfort. The outer layer is made from durable Pyrovatex® FRC, offering a smooth, slightly shiny finish along with strong flame resistance and moisture-wicking capability. The middle layer consists of Nomex® batting, an inherently fire-retardant aramid fiber that significantly enhances thermal insulation. The inner liner is also made from soft Pyrovatex® FRC, ensuring comfort against the skin while maintaining breathability.
Pyrovatex® FRC is a cotton-based fire-retardant material engineered to retain softness, flexibility, and airflow while providing reliable protection. It is gentle on the skin and helps reduce irritation during extended use. The treatment process bonds at a molecular level with cotton fibers, helping preserve its protective properties over time with proper care. As with all motorsport safety equipment, this suit is fire retardant rather than fireproof.
The suit is assembled using heavy-duty multi-needle over-lock safety stitching, ensuring exceptional seam strength and long-term durability. A high-quality heavy-duty two-way YKK brass zipper built on FR tape is installed with a double overlap closure for a secure and protective front opening.
