The RaceQuip 9162 Series Chevron-5 Multi-Layer Fire Suit Pants are SFI-5 certified racing pants engineered for high-performance drivers who require advanced fire protection, durability, and comfort on the track. Designed for professional and amateur motorsport use, these pants combine premium Nomex® construction with a flexible, driver-focused fit.
These pants feature a durable Nomex® outer layer paired with a soft, lightweight Nomex® inner liner for enhanced thermal protection and comfort. The inner construction uses Chevron pattern box quilting to improve structure, durability, and heat resistance while maintaining flexibility during driving conditions.
A stretch waistband is integrated to provide a secure yet flexible fit, allowing the pants to remain comfortably in place during movement. The boot cuff leg design is finished with black Nomex® ankle cuffs and accents for added protection and durability around the lower leg area.
For convenience and practicality, the pants include internal bag pockets, while a heavy-duty Nomex®-backed brass zipper is installed with a double overlap front closure system to improve security and durability under racing conditions.
