The RaceQuip 9161 series Chevron-5 multi-layer fire suit jacket is engineered for professional motorsport safety and performance. Built with a durable Nomex outer layer combined with a soft, lightweight Nomex inner liner, this jacket delivers high levels of heat and flame resistance while maintaining comfort during extended use.
Designed with a modern Euro-inspired styling, the jacket features black trim Euro epaulets, black side panels, and black Nomex cuffs for a clean, performance-focused appearance. The Chevron-pattern box quilting enhances both durability and visual appeal.
For improved driver mobility, the side panels incorporate knit stretch fabric that allows flexibility through the torso, while 180° floating arm gussets provide a greater range of motion in the arms. These features are specifically designed to reduce restriction during driving conditions.
A heavy-duty Nomex-backed brass two-way zipper is installed with a double overlap front closure system to improve security and protection. The jacket exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 safety specifications, making it suitable for competitive racing environments.
